Idrak lyceum is a private educational institution. Idrak lyceum is accredited by the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan. Idrak lyceum was founded in 2008 in Sumgayıt by professor Monsum Alishov. Baku Branch of Idrak lyceum started to operate in 2014 Most classrooms are equipped with the newest appliances. The school provides magnificent facilities, inclusive laboratories for chemistry, physics and biology, ICT rooms.
A high-level pedagogical staff was involved to deliver the teaching material to the students. There is a Monitoring department at the school to assess the pupils’ knowledge. In addition, at the end of the academic year, oral exams for all basic subjects are organized to strengthen the level of students’ knowledge.
The goal of lyceum is to provide high quality education to students and to ensure their well-developed patriotic identity as a beneficial citizen, and to be admitted to universities in our country and abroad. Idrak lyceum is the only school that has 100 percent per year admissions to high schools. 40 percent of high school graduates are studying in foreign countries.
Particular attention is paid to the learning of foreign languages at the lyceum. For this purpose the lyceum uses different international education programs. Only in Idrak lyceum media lessons are applied in the teaching process, that promote the development of thinking abilities in students. The explanation of new lessons on all taught subjects are recorded by ICT. Each student can re-watch the lesson, visiting site server (base memory) of the school with own code. Idrak lyceum has “Fidan” preschool preparatory group, an extend library, a canteen.
Students are provided with food three times a day at the canteen that strictly follows sanitary-hygienic norms. The age of students are also taken into account in the menu prepared by the doctor-pediatrician .
The school building is equipped with a modern heating and cooling system and is protected by MIA stuff (security) full day. The entrance of outsiders to the building is prohibited.
