20 January Tradegy day
Historically, the people of Azerbaijan have been in trouble, stumbled several times, but never fell down, preserved its pride. Every time, when it wanted to fight over its sovereignty, independence, the nation of Azerbaijan met with resistance. In 1990 on January 20, in the night the people of Azerbaijan were undergone to tragedy again. This is the grief of all of each of Azerbaijanis regardless of in which place of the world he or she is. The collective of Lyceum “Idrak” widely remembered 23th anniversary of this tragedy. The event began with the national anthem of Azerbaijan Republic and the memory of our martyrs was remembered with a minute of silence. Video concerning about that tragedy night was displayed. The pupils showed (demonstrated) a performance named “Mom, who switched off the light” that represented the tragedy night. In the event lots of poems were told by pupils under the music of mugham “cahargah”. The song “Qalx ayaga Azerbaycan” was performed by the chorus of the pupils of the lyceum. Pupils of the second class laid carnations over the symbol of the monument which was put in the scene. After the event, a group of pupils and collective of lyceum visited martyrs’ avenue.
Flag day
Flag day was held in idrak school- lyceum today. Variety of performances prepared by the students and some teachers of the lyceum were demonstrated in the event. The event ended with the funny dance prepared by class students.

Azerbaijani language and literature month
Azerbaijani language and literature month- which began on October 1 summed up on November 1. During the month the stands and corners prepared by pupils and teachers were reviewed. The demo lesson of Arzu Kuliyeva who is the teacher of the Azerbaijani language and literature of the 8th grade was attended.
Haloween
Halloween – Today we celebrated an English holiday Halloween which is also celebrated by the world leading school lyceums. A lot of sketches in English and a flash mob dance were performed by our students. The characters of witch, vampire, wizard, magician, devil, goblin, ghost created by our students attracted great attention of our teachers and students. An English song composed by 11th grade student Raul and unusual performances of magician were approved a lot. Guests invited from American Embassy didn’t hide their admiration.
